Bernadette. Peters, born Bernadette A. Lazzara in Ozone Park Queens New York on February 28, 1948, is a singer/songwriter and the author of children's book. Over the course of her career for five decades, she has appeared on stage and in the theatre as well as solo concerts as well as recorded recordings.
